QISJ is a third party, independent inspection company with no interest in trade of used motor vehicle,
general cargo or logistics. Our primary activity is in the area of inspection of goods and motor vehicles.
For motor vehicles, all inspections have to be performed in an inspection centre that is equipped with approved inspection facilities.
For PVoC inpections (machinery, tractors, trailers, spare parts), our inspectors will travel to the location of the items to perform inspection. This is subject to an off-site fee. Please contact us for a quote.

We usually post inspection certificate (by unrecorded post) the next day following an inspection. The postage may take up to 5 days. If
you have not received your certificate 5 days after inspection, it could be for the following reasons:
1. there is pending documentation (e.g logbook, MOT, IDF)
2. there is an outstanding invoice
3. the certificate has unfortunately got lost in the post
In the case of 3 above, we'll usually post another copy of the certificate free of charge.

Yes. We can issue a duplicate certificate for a fee. Please contact us for more information.
Your vehicle can be inspected in Kenya by KEBS. However, the vehicle will be subject to a penalty (of about 15% of the CIF value)
For Japan, UAE and South Africa you'll need to produce your registration document to book your inspection. Fo the U.K, you may book and inspection without a registration document. However, the vehicle will be subject to a HPI check by QISJ. Please email our U.K office at info@qisjp.co.uk for more information.
QISJ is contracted by KEBS to inspect only in the U.K. If your vehicle is outside the U.K, contact us to find out how we can help.

Your car may fail a roadworthiness inspection because of several reasons. We have 3 categories of failures:
1. Physical inspection.
This category includes observable components of the vehicle that do not meet set standards. Examples include:
worn tyres, blown bulbs, dent, broken glass, etc. For this categeory we allow 7 days for you to repair the vehicle and we'll
re-inspect the vehicle free of charge.
2. Vehicle registration document (logbook) has an error.
The vehicle is recorded as a (first inspection) fail. We'll issue a
Certificate of Roadworthiness if the V5 is corrected within 14 days of inspection.
3. Mileage descrepancy.
If we detect a mileage descrepency we'll issue a Non Conformity report at first instance.
No. A new Inspection has to be carried out.
Yes. QISJ will conduct a PVoC inspection for off road vehicles. However, road legal use off road vehicles which are issued a plate number will be inspected for roadworthiness. You can book your PVoC inspection online.

You can pay by cash or by bank transfer. Additionally, for the U.K, you may pay by cheque, by phone or online using your credit/debit card.
